The Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to support our veterinarian and enhance the client and patient experience from start to finish. This role is hands-on and client-facing, with cross-training in phone support and scheduling.
Licensure is not required for this role. Experience and capability matter more than credentials.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to support our veterinarian and enhance the client and patient experience from start to finish. This role is hands-on and client-facing, with cross-training in phone support and scheduling.
Licensure is not required for this role. Experience and capability matter more than credentials.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams and patient care
- Safely restrain animals and monitor patients
- Administer injections and oral medications per clinic protocol
- Perform in-house lab procedures including fecal floats, heartworm tests, skin scrapings, urinalysis, and fungal cultures
- Draw blood and maintain accurate lab records
- Educate clients on wellness, prevention, and treatment plans
- Manage patient appointments from check-in to check-out
- Provide reception and phone support as needed
- Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and work areas
- Minimum age of 24
- High school diploma or GED required
- Five or more years of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and basic veterinary care
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working directly with pet owners in person and by phone
- Proficient with computers (Apple and Windows)
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with accurate record keeping
- Physically able to restrain larger pets when needed
- Team-focused, dependable, and professional
- Fluent in English
- Flexible, trainable, and open to clinic protocols
