Talkiatry is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our Consumer Products group, which includes our Patient Portal, mobile app, and "Start to Visit" experience. This is a mission-critical role with outsized impact on how patients engage with Talkiatry. You'll shape the product journey from initial discovery on our website through to meaningful engagement in care, directly influencing patient acquisition, satisfaction, and adherence. We're looking for a strategic and hands-on product leader who brings deep consumer experience, a strong product growth mindset, and a track record of delivering high-impact, intuitive digital products.
About Talkiatry
Talkiatry is building the nation's leading mental health practice, reimagining psychiatry with a patient-first, technology-powered approach. Our psychiatrists and therapists deliver care through a digital platform that prioritizes access, quality, and long-term outcomes. With innovative tools and a relentless focus on patient experience, Talkiatry ensures that people get the care they need, when they need it. Our technology team builds the products that enable this care, from patient-facing apps to clinician tools and operational systems.

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for all consumer-facing products, including our Patient Portal, mobile app, and pre-care journey ("Start to Visit").
  • Lead and grow a team of product managers (initially two) and a dedicated data scientist, while collaborating closely with design, engineering, marketing, operations, and clinical partners.
  • Drive the successful launch and iterative improvement of our Patient Portal, identifying features that create meaningful patient and business outcomes.
  • Improve conversion through the "Start to Visit" funnel, from initial website visit through to completion of a second appointment.
  • Leverage experimentation and data (A/B testing, cohort analysis, etc.) to identify high-ROI opportunities, measure outcomes, and guide decision-making.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly, focusing on the most impactful problems and delivering results in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Champion exceptional consumer experience, bringing a product design sensibility that results in intuitive, delightful, and effective user interfaces.

You have:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing consumer-facing products.
  • Proven success at a company known for excellent consumer design and product execution.
  • Deep experience running growth experiments, A/B tests, and leveraging analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Strong product instincts with a track record of delivering measurable impact on key metrics such as conversion, activation, or retention.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, design, engineering, operations, and clinical teams.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience growing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • A bias toward action, impact, and continuous improvement.

Why Talkiatry:

  • Top-notch team: we're a diverse, experienced group motivated to make a difference in mental health care
  • Collaborative environment: be part of building something from the ground up at a fast-paced startup
  • Excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, effective day 1 of employment, 401K with match, generous PTO plus paid holidays, paid parental leave, and more!
  • Grow your career with us: hone your skills and build new ones with our Learning team as Talkiatry expands.
