Description

The Blockchain Scientist will be a key leader in developing and implementing Hamsa’s distributed ledger technology (DLT). Importantly, the blockchain scientist will be responsible for researching and leading the implementation of Hamsa’s UCL (Universal Confidential Ledger), an EVM-compatible blockchain that solves the core issues of financial institution interoperability, privacy, and speed, by using cutting-edge technologies such as ZKP on EVM blockchains, and will work closely with the product team to develop DLT infrastructure to support Hamsa commercial products. The Blockchain Scientist will report to the CTO.

Responsibilities:

• Researching of using cutting-edge technologies such as ZKP and cryptographic techniques on EVM blockchains.
• Lead the implementation of UCL (Universal Confidential Ledger) by using cutting-edge technologies.
• Lead the building of Hamsa DLT infrastructure.
• Work closely with the CTO on Hamsa blockchain innovation initiatives.

Knowledge & Experience

• 5-10+ years working experience in blockchain technology. Expert at writing smart contracts for security and functionality.
• Familiar with ZKP and ZKP applications.
• Familiar with cryptographic techniques and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Great in algorithm techniques.
• Familiarity with software languages, such as C++, Java, solidity, GO, etc.
• BS, MS, or Ph.D in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Bonus if worked as a scientist developing one of the main EMV-compatible blockchains such as Polygon, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.

• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Able to work with different cultures and communicate with international teams.
• Fluent in English is a big plus.
